This can be served with tomato sauce or chutney and is more tastier with vegetable upma.
Upma cutlet recipe - How to make Upma cutlet
Cooking Time: Total Time:
1 cup leftover upma
2 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
2 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup plain flour (maida)
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and make small balls.
- Mix maida with water and make a thin paste.
- Dip the balls in the maida paste.
- Rollover the balls in the breadcrams and deep fry it in the oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot
