2 kgs watermelon flesh seeded
2 cups sweet white wine
60 ml honey
1/2 tsp garam masala
grated orange rind and juiceof 1 orange
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 cup (250 ml.) sour cream
grated nutmeg (jaiphal) and dill (shepu / suva bhaji) sprigs for garnishing
Method
- Mix watermelon,wine,honey,garam masala,orange rind and juice and lemon rind in a pan and bring to a boil. simmer for 20 mins. allow to cool.
- Puree in a blender.transfer to a bowl. stir in the sour cream. chill well before serving.
- Garnish with nutmeg(grated) and dill sprigs.
