A Healthy Vegetable Pulav recipe - How to make A Healthy Vegetable Pulav

50 gms french beans
50 gms carrots
100 gms green peas
2 potatoes (optional)
6 cloves of garlic (lehsun), grated
1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
10 to 15 mint leaves (phudina)
3 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 " stick of cinnamon (dalchini)
1 tsp lemon juice
3 cups long grained rice (basmati)
2 tbsp ghee or butter
8 cups water
salt to taste
Method
- Chop fine all the vegetables
- Wash the rice
- Put the pan on stove and add ghee/butter.
- When it boils add cloves,cinamon, garlic, ginger paster for few seconds.
- Add vegetables and cook for two minutes.
- Add rice and again saute for two minutes.
- Add water.
- Add salt and lemon juice.
- Add phudina leaves.
- Cover the pan and slow the stove and allow to cook for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes stop the stove.
- Garnish it with coariander leaves and serve with curd or any paneer curry.
