Kadai Dosa is a crispy thin pancake recipe prepared from a rice and lentil based batter. The kadai is rich in health benefits and makes for an excellent breakfast or snacking choice.
Adai Dosa recipe - How to make Adai Dosa
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: 5 mins each Total Time:
3 cups par boiled rice (chawal)
1 cup urad dal (split black lentils)
1 cup moong (whole green gram)
1 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram)
1 " piece of ginger (adrak)
1 stem of curry leaves (kadi patta)
4 fresh red chillies
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
salt to taste
finely chopped onions (optional)
Method
- Soak all dals and rice overnight.
- Grind all ingredients to a coarse paste.
- Heat griddle till medium-hot.
- Wipe with few drops of oil.
- Spread dough on griddle as for dosas.
- Sprinkle finely cut onions on spread dough(optional).
- When cooked on one side turn and cook till golden brown or crisp.
- Remove from griddle.
- Serve hot.
