Baby Corn Delight recipe - How to make Baby Corn Delight

5 to 6 baby corn cobs
bread crumbs
oil for deep-frying
For batter:
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup cornflour
salt to taste
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
masala paste-coarsely ground paste of 3-4 green chillies, 3 garlic (lehsun) pods, 1 bunch fresh coriander (dhania)
Method
- Parboil the corn cobs in salted water.
- Drain and keep aside.
- Make a smooth paste of all the flours .
- Add salt,cumin powder and masala paste and mix well.
- Dip the corn cobs in the batter gently and roll them out on the bread crumbs and deep fry till they become golden crisp.
- Serve hot.
