Makes 6 serving
3 cups bajra (black millet) flour
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
2 potatoes , boiled and mashed
50 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp green peas , boiled and mashed
1 tbsp corn (makai ke dane) flour to bind dough
salt to taste
1 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 onion , finely chopped
2 cloves (laung / lavang) of , finely chopped
1 slit green chilli , finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves (methi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur) (amchur)
water to make dough
oil for deep frying

- Method
- Combine all the above ingredients except oil and corn flour and knead and make the dough.
- Make small oval size shaped flatten rolls,now roll this in the corn flour and keep aside.
- Heat the oil and dust the corn flour before putting in the oil and deep fry in low flame till golden brown.
- Serve hot with mint,coriander chutney.
