Baked Garden recipe - How to make Baked Garden

Makes 4 to 6 serving
For The Baked Vegetables
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions
1/2 cup finely chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
2 medium sized peeled and diced potatoes
1/2 cup cauliflower , cut into florets
1/2 cup broccoli
2 medium sized carrot , diced
1/2 cup green peas
1/2 cup corn (makai ke dane)
3/4 cup kabuli chana (white chick peas) beans , soaked overnight and boiled (optional)
For The Sauce
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tbsp corn (makai ke dane) flour
1 tsp butter
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
1/2 cup shredded processed cheese
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
Method
- Method
- In a large pan , add butter ,saute the spring onions,spinach, capsicum,carrot, broccoli, cauliflower,potatoes,green peas, corn, add salt according to taste and cover and cook on medium flame till all veggies are cooked .
- Mix cornflour and milk , make a smooth paste add to the cooked veggies ,add garbanzo beans add little salt , and pepper,tomato ketchup, and mix well till the mixture thickens.
- Take a baking dish, apply oil on the base, add the vegetable mixture ,sprinkle cheese on top and bake it for 350 degrees for 40 mins or until u see the cheese turning brown on the top layer.
- Serve hot , you can eat this bake alone or with a toasted Bread and soup.
