Capsicum and Corn Toast recipe - How to make Capsicum and Corn Toast

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 2 to 4 servings

Ingredients


For White Sauce
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
butter
2 cups milk

For The Gravy
1 chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 onions
1 chopped red capsicum
1 chopped yellow capsicum
1 chopped green capsicum
baby corn
1/2 cup boiled corn
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

Other Ingredinets
4 bread slices
grated cheese

Method
To make white sauce:

    To make white sauce:
  1. Heat 1 teaspoon butter and 1/2 tspn oil in a pan
  2. Add maida and saute for 5 seconds
  3. Add milk and stir continuously till the sauce thickens

To make the gravy:

    To make the gravy:
  1. Heat 1 teaspoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon oil in a pan
  2. Add garlic and onion and saute till they turn gloden brown
  3. Add all the vegetables,chopped into small cubes
  4. Add salt and black pepper powder and saute for 2 minutes
  5. Add the white sauce to the gravy and stir for 1 mintues till the gravy mixes well with the white sauce

For the toast:

    For the toast:
  1. Bake the pizza base for 2-3 minutes on a pre heated tandoor/ oven.
  2. On the baked pizza base,apply little butter.
  3. Put the prepared gravy on the pizza base.
  4. Top it with grated cheese and bake it in the tandoor at slow gas flame/in preheated oven for 5 minutes at 150 ^celsius.
  5. Serve hot with ketchup
