Ingredients


For The Dough
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 tsp oil
salt to taste

To Be Mixed Into A Stuffing
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp kitchen king masala
salt to taste

whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
6 tsp ghee for cooking

Method
For the dough

    For the dough
  1. Combine all the ingredients and knead into a soft, smooth dough using enough water.
  2. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

  1. To make the {span class="bold1"}cheese paneer paratha{/span}, divide the dough and stuffing into 6 equal portions.
  2. Roll out one portion of the dough into a circle of 125 mm. (5") diameter using whole wheat flour for rolling.
  3. Place one portion of the stuffing in the centre of the circle. Bring together all the sides in the centre and seal tightly.
  4. Roll out again into a circle of 150 mm. (6") in diameter, using whole wheat flour for rolling.
  5. Cook on a hot tava (griddle), using 1 tsp of ghee, till both sides are golden brown in colour.
  6. Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing to make 5 more parathas.
  7. Serve the {span class="bold1"}cheese paneer paratha{/span} immediately.

cheese and Paneer Paratha.. Its really cheese.. soft.. it just can be enjoyed just like that.. but i enjoyed this with some ketchup.. i took 2 in my lunch box also.. Great recipe.. full of flavours..
