Chhilkewale Parathe recipe - How to make Chhilkewale Parathe

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 8 parathas.

Ingredients


3/4 cup moong dal (split green gram) with skin
2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
2 tsp coarsely powdered coriander (dhania) seeds
3 green chillies, finely chopped
1 chopped onion
2 tsp oil
1 potato, boiled and mashed
salt to taste
oil or ghee for frying

Method
    Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients and add water to make a soft dough.
  2. Roll out into thick rotis and cook on a tawa (griddle) on both sides with oil until pink spots come on top.
  3. Serve hot with curds.

In the above receipt you hv not r mentioned wether the dal should be powdered, soaked and ground ...?? Not very clear!!!!
