Rava roti is a perfect breakfast recipe which is tasty and also laden with fiber and proteins. The rava or semolina is mixed with milk, coconut, chillies and spices and then spread on a pan just like pancake.

Ingredients

2 cups semolina (rava)
1 onion , finely chopped
3 to 4 green chillies , finely chopped
1/4 cup freshly grated coconut
salt to taste
2 to 3 tbsp curds (dahi)
oil for cooking

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients, mix well and add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency.
  2. Heat a non-stick tava and pour a spoonful of batter on it and spread evenly to make a thin circle.
  3. Cook, using little oil, till it turns crisp and golden brown from both the sides.
  4. Repeat with the remaining batter to make more such rotis.
  5. Serve hot.
