Rava roti is a perfect breakfast recipe which is tasty and also laden with fiber and proteins. The rava or semolina is mixed with milk, coconut, chillies and spices and then spread on a pan just like pancake.

Makes 4 rotis
2 cups semolina (rava)
1 onion , finely chopped
3 to 4 green chillies , finely chopped
1/4 cup freshly grated coconut
salt to taste
2 to 3 tbsp curds (dahi)
oil for cooking
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients, mix well and add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick tava and pour a spoonful of batter on it and spread evenly to make a thin circle.
- Cook, using little oil, till it turns crisp and golden brown from both the sides.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make more such rotis.
- Serve hot.
