To prepare the delectable corn fingers, marinate the baby corn well in a masala paste and then grill these marinated baby corn in a hot tandoor till done. Enjoy as starter or cocktail tit bits with sauce.
Corn Fingers recipe - How to make Corn Fingers
Preparation Time: 10-15 Cooking Time: 10-15 Total Time:
1 tin canned corn kernels (makai ke dane)
4 green chillies, finely chopped
6 to 8 flakes of garlic (lehsun), chopped
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) and mint leaves (phudina)
150 gms grated processed cheese
salt to taste
1 to 2 eggs, beaten
2 cups bread crumbs
12 slices of bread
Method
- Soak the bread in water and squeeze.
- Mix the sweetcorn, green chillies, chopped garlic, coriander and mint leaves, cheese, salt and the soaked bread.
- Divide into 16 to 20 parts according to your liking.
- Shape into fingers.
- Coat these fingers in egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Deep-fry in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
