Cucumber Dhirde presents an innovatively created cool recipe with the grated cucumbers. The cucumbers are made into a thick batter with flour, sesame seeds and spice powders. This dhirde batter is then dropped in the hot oil and fried till done and crispy.

1/4 kg cucumber
1 1/2 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
salt to taste
chilli powder to taste
1 tbsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
coriander (dhania) leaves
oil for cooking
Method
- Grate cucumber and mix all the ingadients to form a smooth batter similar to dhokla consistency.
- Heat the non stick .
- Spread the batter with fingers to form a round shape of around 4 mm thickness. cook it with little bit of oil.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
