A perfect dessert recipe,Dhahi delight is prepared from hung curd which is sweetened and tossed with chopped nuts, saffron and elaichi powder.

2 cups curds (dahi)
powdered sugar to taste
chopped mixed nuts and dates (khajur)
cardamom (elaichi) powder
milk for right consistency
2 pinches of saffron (kesar) strands
Method
- Tie the yogurt in a muslin cloth and hang till all the water drains out for 2 hrs.
- Powder sugar and add it to the curds and whisk it till smooth by adding milk.
- Add chopped nuts and dates and elaichi powder.
- Saffron can also be added after soaking in cold milk.
- Refrigerate and serve.
