Dhamaka dal Dosa is an dhamakedaar or awesome recipe for preparing pancakes or Dosa with rice and black gram or kaali urad ki dal. The batter comprising of ground lentils, rice, red chillies,salt and chopped onions is cooked till crispy done and enjoyed plain with tea as snack or breakfast.

Ingredients


1 cup steamed rice
1/2 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram)
1/2 cup toovar (arhar) dal
2 tbsp urad dal (split black lentils)
8 red chillies
2 tsp salt
For garnishing - 1 onion, chopped

Method

  1. Soak the rice and the dals seperately for 3 hours
  2. Grind together adding chillies and salt. add water gradually.
  3. Add chopped onions and corainder leaves.
  4. Heat tawa
  5. Take a ladle of the batter and spread. (slightly thicker than dosa)
  6. Turn over when it becomes golden brown
  7. Remove when it becomes crisp.
