Fruit chole exhibits an interesting salad recipe with boiled kabuli chana or chole mixed with fruits like pomegranate, pineapple and grapes. Sprinkle chaat masala and lime juice and the tangy spicy fruit chole is ready to be devoured.

Makes 6 servings
1 cup kabuli chana (white chick peas)
1/2 cup chopped grapes
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup pomegranate (anar)
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
1/2 cup chopped apples

- Method
- Soak the kabuli chana in enough water for 5 to 6 hours.
- Pressure cook the kabuli chana till cooked. Keep aside.
- Combine the chana with the remaining ingredients and toss well.
- Serve immediately.
