Green Pulao recipe - How to make Green Pulao

Makes 4 servings
2 to 3 cloves (laung / lavang)
2 cinnamon (dalchini) sticks
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1/4 cup chopped coconut
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 cup long grained cooked rice (basmati rice)
1 cup mixed chopped and cooked vegetables(french beans , capsicum ,
green peas)
salt to taste
Method
- Method
- Combine the coriander, coconut, cloves and cinnamon and blend in a mixer to a dry paste. Keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the ginger garlic paste and onions, mix well and saute till the onions turn translucent.
- Add the prepared paste and mix well.
- Add the cooked rice and vegetables and add salt. Mix well.
- Serve hot with cucumber raita or tomato soup.
