2 cups milk powder
1 1/4 cups original bisquick pancake mix
1 small carton heavy whipped cream
cardamom (elaichi) powder and saffron (kesar) strands to flavour
oil or ghee for deep frying
2 cups sugar
lemon juice
Method
- Mix the milk powder, b.q mix, whip cream, cardemom & saffron in a bowl & set for 1 hour.
- Heat 2 cups of suger, one capfull of lemonjuice, 2 cups of water, saffron & cardemom in a pan, to make thick syrup.
- Make spherical jamuns with the dough & deep fry them in oil or ghee till golden brown.
- Put the fried balls (gulab jamuns) in the syrup & let them soak till ready to searve.
