A healthy and tasty dosa recipe, the Hariyali dosa has the chopped spinach made into a puree and then added to the dosa batter. Enjoy these appealing crispy thin Hariyali or green dosas with coconut chutney.
Hariyali Dosa recipe - How to make Hariyali Dosa
Preparation Time: 10 minutes (excludes batter prepration) Cooking Time: Total Time:
8 to 10 cups thick dosa batter
For the spread:
1 bunch of mint leaves (phudina)
1/2 bunch of coriander (dhania) leaves
3 tomatoes, cut into cubes
2 to 3 green chillies
salt to taste
Method
- Sort and clean pudina and coriander leaves
- Wash and grind coarseley along with chilies, tomatoes,salt in a blender or food processor.
- Heat tava and pour dosa batter. add a tablespoon or more of the ground paste and cook on both sides till golden.
- Serve hot with a dollop of butter and chutney powder or sambar.
