Hot Strawberries In Grand Marnier recipe - How to make Hot Strawberries In Grand Marnier

Serves 6 to 8.
3 cups fresh strawberries
1 tsp levelled, cornflour
4 tbsp levelled, sugar
juice of 1 orange
3 tbsp grand marnier
50 gms butter
To serve
Vanilla Ice-Cream
Method
- Method
- Slice the straberries.
- Heat the butter, add the cornflour and fry for a few seconds. Add the sugar and orange juice and cook on a slow flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the strawberries and cook for 1 minute.
- Warm the Grand Marnier in a large spoon, set alight and pour the burning liqueur over the strawberries.
- Serve hot with vanilla ice-cream.
