Jeera Chilli Cookies recipe - How to make Jeera Chilli Cookies

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 4 serving

Ingredients

1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tbsp salted butter
a pinch salt
1/8 tsp baking powder
chilled water for binding the dough

Method
    Method
  1. Mix all the above ingredients with the finger tips till it resembles bread crumbs like structure.
  2. Add a tsp by tsp chilled water to bind the medium stiff dough.
  3. Make balls of the dough and roll to a roti and prick with a fork.
  4. Cut to desired shape with a cutter and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 20 minutes or till crisp.
  5. Serve with tea.
