When we are relishing so many things during festivals we happen to forget our health.So I have thought of this innovative recipe which calls for a grain in the namkeens apart from maida.

Makes 4 servings
1 cup jowar (white millet) flour
1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
2 tbsp hot oil
oil for deep frying
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and add water to bind medium soft dough.
- Make small balls of lemon size and roll to a log with the help of your palm.
- Bring the edges together to give a shape of a ring.
- Deep fry these rings in hot oil till golden and serve with tea.
