Kairi Pinwheels recipe - How to make Kairi Pinwheels

10 raw mangoes
100 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tsp oil + oil for deep frying
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
4 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour), roasted
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
4 potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
Method
- Heat a little oil in a pan, add mashed paneer mix with mashed potatoes, roasted gram flour, coriander leaves and seasoning. mix well.
- Slit the kairies and remove the seeds.
- Stuff the kairies with potato-paneer mixture and coat also the kairies with the mixture.
- Deep fry in hot oil and remove. slice each kairy into 3 circles.
- Serve hot kairi pinwheels with tomato sauce.
