1 cup hot Steamed Rice
2 cups sugar
1 cup almonds (badam) (soaked, peeled and thinly sliced) , pistachios (soaked, peeled and thinly sliced) , , raisins, walnuts, cashewnuts
5 cardamoms (elaichi) powdered
20 to 25 saffron (kesar) strands
yellow colour
For Tarka
4 tbsp ghee
4 small cloves (laung / lavang)
3 cardamoms (elaichi)
Method
- Mix all the ingredients and keep aside for 10 mins.
- Heat ghee, put cloves and cardamom seeds.
- Add all above ingredients
- And stir on medium heat for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced almonds.
