A deep fried delight.. made simple and quick! Enjoy these puris hot with a cup of tea.

Makes 3 to 4 servings
250 gms plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
50 gms poppy seeds (khus-khus) , washed and ground into a paste
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
oil for deep frying
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft dough, using water if required.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into small puris.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry each puri till golden brown in colour from both the sides.
- Serve immediately with a cup of tea.
