Makes 15 pieces.
1 1/2 cups grated fresh coconut
2 1/4 cups sugar
450 gms mava (khoya)
a few drops pink colour or a little saffron (kesar) strands
Method
- Method
- Grate the khoya very well.
- Put the sugar and coconut to cook. Go on cooking and stirring until the mixture becomes thick.
- Add the khoya and a little pink colour or saffron.
- Spread the mixture on thali (flat metal plate), cool and cut into desired shape. Alternatively, serve in paper cups topped with chopped glace cherries.
