Lemon Ginger Sorbet recipe - How to make Lemon Ginger Sorbet
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: 20 minuted Total Time:
300 ml lemon juice
300 gms ginger (adrak)
2 kgs sugar
1/3 tsp (levelled) sodium benzoit
3 bottels 700 ml
5 ml or 1 cap lemon essence
water to cover the sugar
Method
- Fill clean bottels with cold water ,put in vessel ,filled with water ,boil.
- Squeeze lemon juice ,
- Grind cleaned ginger in mixy exteact juice by seiving some water may be needed to extract juice fully
- Put sugar in pan cover with water half inch above level ,boil tillsugar melts, put 5 .1 tsp citric acid to clean sugar ,
- After cleaning syrup ,add ginger juice boil ,till syrup is sticky ,add lemon juice ,boil ,
- Close fire add lemon essence (optional) , 8 .sodium benzoit diluted in hot syrup ,
- Bottle hot sorbet in boiling bottle, about 1-2"space in bottel keep empty ,for hot vapour .
- Close bottle immediately.
