A classic thirst quencher made with lime juice, ginger, ice and honey. Even more delicious on a hot summer's day.

Ingredients


3 large sized lemons
1/2 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups water
1 spring of mint leaves (phudina)
4 to 5 lemon slices to garnish

Method

  1. Wash lemons well
  2. Peel the lemons without the white pith with a peeler or a knife
  3. Remove juice and keep aside
  4. Combine water with peel and heat till it boils
  5. Add in the sugar and stirr till dissolved.
  6. Let it cool, then mix the lemon juice and refrigerate it till chilled
  7. Serve with ice and garnish it with mint leaves and lemon slices.
