A finger licking spicy and crunchy Madhur vada has rice flour mixed with rava, all purpose flour and chopped onions, chillies, ginger and grated coconut. Add a pinch of seasonings and enjoy the spicy and crispy madhur vada with chutney or ketchup as evening tea time snack.
Madhur Vada recipe - How to make Madhur Vada

1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 cup semolina (rava)
2 tsp chilli powder
1 cup chopped onions
2 green chillies
a small pinch of asafoetida (hing)
3/4 tsp salt
a small piece ginger (adrak), grated
a few curry leaves (kadi patta)
finely chopped coriander (dhania)
3 to 4 tbsp grated coconut
oil for frying
Method
- Mix all the above ingredients with little hot oil and water, make small flat rounds (like thattai) and deep fry in oil.
