Ingredients


For The Dough
2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/4 cup chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
2 to 3 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp salt

To Be Mixed Together For The Filling
100 gms grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 chopped green chillies
3/4 tsp chilli powder
3/4 tsp garam masala
3/4 tsp salt

Method
For the dough

    For the dough
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using 1 cup of water.
  2. Cover with a wet cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Knead again and divide the dough into 4 equal portions.

  1. Divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4: diameter.
  3. Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and cseal the edges.
  4. Roll out again into a circle of 6" diameter.
  5. Heat a tava and cook the paratha using little oil till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  6. Repeat the steps to make 3 more parathas.
  7. Serve hot.
