Makes 4 servings
1 cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi)
1 cup green moong dal (split green gram)
2 slit green chillies
1 grated cucumber
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp freshly grated coconut
3 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
Method
- Main procedure
- Drain the soaked moong dal and cook it till it is just done. Drain and cool.
- Add the chopped fenugreek leaves, green chillies, cucumber, lemon juice, sugar and salt and toss well.
- Sprinkle the grated coconut and coriander on top while serving.
