Muesli Bars recipe - How to make Muesli Bars

Makes 14 to 16 bars
1 cup chopped raisins (kismis)
1 cup chopped apricots (kummani / jardalu)
3 tbsp honey
3/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup muesli
1/2 cup chopped plum
1/2 cup chopped dates (khajur)
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tbsp sunflower seeds (surajmukhi ke beej)
1 tbsp chopped almonds (badam)
1 cup curds (dahi)
oil for greasing
Method
- Method
- Heat a deep pan add the raisins, apricots, honey and orange juice, mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and allow to cool, add the remaining ingredients except the curds and mix well.
- Pour a spoon full of mixture in a greased cake tin or muffin tin and press the mixture in round bar shape.
- Spread a dollops of curds onto each bar.
- Bake in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes.
- Remove and allow to refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
