This is a unique pickle, tastes tangy , made out of orange peel. It is also rich in vitamin C.

Makes 4 serving
gingelly oil
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp tamarind (imli) pulp
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi) powder
1 cup chopped orange peel
Method
- Method
- Heat the til oil in a kadhai and add the mustard sees, hing and fenugreek powder
- After the mustard crackles, add the orange peel and cook for a 1 min or 2.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and tamrind pulp and cook till the oil separates on top.
- Store in a clean and dry bottle.
