Party Cheese Corn Balls recipe - How to make Party Cheese Corn Balls

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:    Makes 10 to 15 pieces

Ingredients

3 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
2 cups boiled and crushed sweet corn kernels
1 cup boiled noodles
1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
2 chopped green chillies
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp tabasco sauce (optional)
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
oil to deep fry
1 cup bread crumbs
butter paper

For Serving
salsa sauce or tomato ketchup

Method
    Method
  1. In a bowl mix the plain flour, milk and remove all the lumps.
  2. In a pan heat the butter and add the plain flour and milk mixture and cook, while stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
  3. Cook into a very thick consistency and only then remove from the pan and keep aside to cool completely.
  4. In a bowl add the cooled white mixture, crushed corn, bread crumbs, chillies, herbs, tabasco, paprika, salt and mix well to form a thick lumpy stuffing that can be fried.
  5. Heat the oil in a kadhai.
  6. Make small round balls of the mixture and roll them in breadcrumbs and deep fry on a slow flame till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  7. Serve with tomato ketchup or salsa sauce.
