Peach and Ginger Cooler

The soothing flavour of peach and the spiky taste of ginger are made for each other! They are complete contrasts but complement each other beautifully in this rejuvenating Peach and Ginger Cooler.
Remember that the ginger is to be added when the peaches are cooked with sugar to enable the flavour to steep in strongly. This flavourful combination is further perked up with chilled lemonade, which adds a tingling note and more fizzy fun to the drink.

Makes 4 glasses
1 cup peach cubes
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups chilled lemonade
- Method
- Combine the peach, ginger, sugar and ¾ cup of water in a broad non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Cool completely.
- Once cooled blend it in a mixer till smooth.
- Pour 2 tbsp of the peach-ginger mixture in a glass, top it with ½ cup chilled lemonade.
- Repeat step 3 to make 3 more glasses.
- Serve immediately.
