Makes 4 servings
1/2 cup penne pasta , boiled
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
a pinch of soda bi-carb
1/2 tsp chaat masala
salt to taste
oil for deep frying

- Method
- Combine all the other ingredients expect the pasta and oil and add a little water to make a smooth batter.
- Add the pasta and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the pastas till they turn crisp and golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot with garlic chutney or mayonnaise.
