Tasty cutlets made with beaten wheat(poha) with a mix of other veggies and spices and pan fried.
Poha Cutlets recipe - How to make Poha Cutlets

1 cup beaten rice (poha)
3 medium sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
10 cashewnuts (kaju) or peanuts, chopped
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Method
- Soak poha for 5 mins in sufficient water.
- In a man heat oil add cumin and mustard seeds.
- When they begin to pop add the onions, maida and roast for 2-4 mins.
- Add red chiily powder,haldi,green chilly and mix well by stiring it.
- Transfer mixture in a bowl.
- Add poha, mashed potatoes, salt, dhania,nuts and lemon juice...mix well.
- Divide mixture into small portions shape each into a cutlet.
- Deep fry cutlets untill golden brown.
- Drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with ketcup or green chutney.
