Poha Carrot Pancakes are made with Poha/Grated Carrot/Grated Cucumber which are very easy to make and healthy as well.
This was made by myself and wanted to share with Tarla Madam.

Makes 3 to 4 servings
2 cups beaten rice (poha)
1 cup curds (dahi)
1 cup water
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1 spoon dried mango powder (amchur)
3 green chillies
1 grated carrot
1 grated cucumber
2 tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oil
Method
- Method
- Wash the poha well and then add the water and curd together and allow to settle for 20 mins.
- Then add the besan,salt, grated carrot,grated cucumber, tomato paste (Made from the Tomatoes), green chillies, amchoor and a little oil and mix well to make a batter.
- Now heat the tawa and sprinkle oil or ghee and make small small pancakes and shallow fry till golden brown on both sides.
- Serve this with any pickle or chutney.
