Serves 8.
225 gms bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
2 onions
1 large potato
1 kg tomatoes
1 1/2 cups White Sauce
2 tsp levelled, cornflour
3 to 4 tsp sugar
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
fresh cream and grated cheese to serve

- Method
- Cut the vegetables into big pieces, add 6 tecups of water and cook.
- When cooked, pass through a sieve or rub through a strainer.
- Mix the cornflour in a little water and add. Boil for 10 minutes.
- Add the white sauce, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Serve hot topped with cream and cheese.
