Simple to taste and easy to cook. There are no spices used to help you prevent acidity, however herbs add the necessary taste and flavour.

Makes 0 to 2 servings
2 tsp butter
1/2 cup sliced onions
2 1/2 cups potatoes cubes (preferably with the peel on)
1 tsp dried mixed herbs (oregano , etc.)
salt and to taste
2 tbsp grated carrot for the garnish

- Method
- Heat the butter in a pressure cooker, add the onions and sauté for a while.
- Add the potatoes and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Add 4 cups of hot water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Cool completely.
- Put the cooked vegetables in a mixer and blend till smooth.
- Add the herbs, salt and pepper and mix well and simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with the carrots
