Potato Hash recipe - How to make Potato Hash

Makes 4 servings
1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup boiled and mashed sweet potato (shakarkand)
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tbsp finely chopped basil
2 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
For The Garnish
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp grated paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp roasted cashewnuts (kaju)
Method
- Method
- Heat a tsp of oil in a non-stick pan, add the ginger and saute for 1/2 a minute.
- Add all other ingredients and remaining oil, mix well and saute for 3 minutes.
- Transfer it to a greased baking dish, grate panneer on top and bake it for 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately and warm.
- Garnish with coriander and cashew nuts while serving.
