A delightful and mint flavoured pudina rice recipe. The pudina or mint flavoured rice goes exceptionally well with a range of Indian vegetable and meat dishes. An easy and yet healthful chawal recipe, cooling pudina rice is one of our favorites.

Method

  1. Cook rice separately.
  2. In a pan put little oil and fry chilli,onion,ginger and finely cut mint leaves.
  3. Now add pepper powder,salt and fry it .
  4. Fry the cashewnuts in little ghee and mix the cooked rice to the pudina mixture.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.serve hot with any raita.
