When it comes to pumpkin we all think it of a sweet vegetable served with puris but it can tempt you as well in the form of fritters also.

Makes 4 servings
3/4 cup finely chopped pumpkin
3/4 cup boiled , peeled and chopped potatoes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch) powder
1 green chilli , chopped
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients along with enough water, mix well and make a very thick and smooth batter.
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and drop spoonfulls of batter and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot with sweet curds.
