Quick Appas recipe - How to make Quick Appas

Makes 4 servings
1 cup semolina (rava)
1/4 cup curds (dahi)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp grated carrot
1 slit green chilli , chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
2 pinch freshly ground black pepper powder
oil for cooking
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Heat the appa vessel and grease each mould with oil.
- Pour a spoonfull of mixture in each of the moulds.
- Cover the vessel with a plate and cook on a medium flame from both the sides till brown and crsip.
- Serve hot with coconut or mint chutney.
