Rice Goulash recipe - How to make Rice Goulash

2 tbsp oil
1 chopped onion
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp dry ground ginger
1 clove fresh garlic (lehsun),crushed
1 cup long grained rice (basmati rice)
2 cups vegetable broth or water
1 green pepper chopped
1 cup corn kernels
1 tomato , chopped
1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed (or 2 cups home cooked)
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
Method
- 1.cook onion in oil for a few minutes over medium heat until almost golden.
- 2. add spices, garlic, chopped pepper, tomato, corn, and chickpeas. cook another 5 minutes.
- 3.add rice and fry for a minute or two.
- 4.transfer the whole contents into pressure cooker.
- 5.add water or vegetable broth.
- 6.cook on high until 3 to 4 whistles.
- 7.serve hot.
