Ingredients
Method

  1. Soak the tamarind in water for 10 -15 minutes
  2. Cut all the vegetables.
  3. Mix the rice and dal with water in 1:2 ratio in a vessel
  4. Keep all the hard vegetables like aloo carrot beans,mooli drumstick in a seperate vessel with the required amount of water
  5. Keep this two vessels in the pressure cooker and allow it to give 5-7 whistles.
  6. Fry the dhania seeds,4-5 methi seeds,redchilli,chenna dal for masala
  7. Mix this contents with grated coconut and grind well
  8. In a pan add ghee (2 table spoon)
  9. Boil it
  10. Add mustard, udir dal, curry leaves cashewnuts and some red chilli and season it
  11. Add small onions and big onions
  12. Fry till it becomes golden brown
  13. Add tomato mutter and capsicum and allow it to cook well
  14. Add the concentrated imli juice,and the ground masala and sambar powder
  15. Wait for 5 minutes
  16. Add all the cooked vegetables
  17. After 5 minutes add the cooked dal and rice
  18. Mix well
  19. Serve hot with potato chips and raita
