Makes 6 to 8 servings
1/2 cup chana dal (split bengal gram)
2 to 3 garlic (lehsun) cloves
salt to taste
4 whole dry kashmiri red chillies

- Boil the dhal in enough water on a slow flame till they turn soft and golden brown.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Serve with rice or any pulao recipe.
