Spicy Yoghurt and Vegetable Soup recipe - How to make Spicy Yoghurt and Vegetable Soup

500 gms curds (dahi)
1 small sized onion
1 small sized tomato
5 to 6 french beans
1/2 cup cauliflower florets
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1 small sized carrot, chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tbsp coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup fresh cream
Method
- Whisk the yougurt.
- Chop the onion and tomato.
- Melt the butter in a sauce pan and add the cumin seeds and stir until they begin to crackle.
- Add the vegetable and stir for 5 min.
- Remove the pan from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Return to heat and add yoghurt, coriander and half the cream.
- Bring to boil stir in the remaining cream and season with salt and pepper.
