Makes 4 servings
2 cups vegetables (baby corn, broccoli , carrots ) , cut into wedges (parboiled)
1 tsp fresh red chillies , sliced
1/2 cup blanched, peeled and sliced almond (badam)
3/4 cup bean sprouts
2 cups chinese white sauce
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method
- Main procedure
- Heat the oil, add the fresh red chillies, almonds, bean sprouts and vegetables and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the chinese white sauce and salt and bring to a boil.
- Serve immediately.
- To blanch the almonds, boil water and take off the flame. Add almonds to the hot water and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
- The skin will loosen thus making it easy to peel the almonds.
