2 cups lightly roasted sesame seeds (til)
1 1/2 cups jaggery (gur)
1 tsp ghee for greasing
Method
- Put the jaggery in a pot and put on a slow flame.
- Keep stirring continously making sure it does not stick at the bottom of the pan.
- Once it has melted take it off the hit and mix the sesame seeds.
- Put the mixture into the greased thali 1" deep and spread it evenly. leave it to cool before cutting into 2"x2" pieces.
- Store in an airtight tin
