Ingredients


2 cups lightly roasted sesame seeds (til)
1 1/2 cups jaggery (gur)
1 tsp ghee for greasing

Method

  1. Put the jaggery in a pot and put on a slow flame.
  2. Keep stirring continously making sure it does not stick at the bottom of the pan.
  3. Once it has melted take it off the hit and mix the sesame seeds.
  4. Put the mixture into the greased thali 1" deep and spread it evenly. leave it to cool before cutting into 2"x2" pieces.
  5. Store in an airtight tin
